A set N table (110) is a table to hold information on other wireless communication devices reached from a wireless communication device (node) by one hop. A set N² table (120) is a table to hold information on other wireless communication devices reached from the wireless communication device (100) by two hops. A set F table (170) is a table to hold information on a node with which an arriving possibility of flooding from the wireless communication device (100) is not confirmed. In consideration of a link communication state between respective nodes held by the set N table (110) and the set N² table (120), an MPR setting unit (160) selects an MPR node while deleting nodes with which an arriving possibility of flooding is confirmed from the set F table (170) and sets it at an MPR table (180), so that the optimum MPR node is set in an ad hoc wireless network in consideration of the link communication state.
