<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding structure portable terminal by which successful antenna characteristics are obtained at both of an open state and a closed state. <P>SOLUTION: In the folding structure portable terminal constituted by openably/closably connecting two casings at a hinge part, an antenna integrated with a single impedance matching circuit is mounted on a main circuit board which one casing contains. The impedance matching circuit is provided with at least one lead switch, an inductance and a capacitance. The lead switch is turned off and on by a magnet according to opening/closing of the portable terminal and switches configuration of the impedance matching circuit so that the optimal impedance is obtained at an open state in the case of off and at a closed state in the case of on.
