PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal having a means for simply and inexpensively confirming living environment even if it is not mounted on a person to be monitored. SOLUTION: The information terminal is constituted so that a brightness detection part 10, a behavior detection part 11, an atmospheric temperature detection part 12 which detect living environment information every time a preliminarily registered detection time comes as a living environment information monitoring part 9, a living environment information analysis-editing part 13 which analyzes whether or not the brightness, behavior and atmospheric temperature from each detection part are proper every time preliminarily registered report time comes and edits its result to a living environment report, an e-mail generation part 14 which converts the living environment report into e-mails and voice information and a voice data output part 15 are added to a normal information terminal such as a cellular phone which transmits/receives e-mails and voice information via a network. The living environment report generated by the living environment information monitoring part 9 is periodically transmitted to a preliminarily registered report destination via a radio control part 6 and an antenna by requesting a report to a terminal control part 8.
