PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps plug for an endoscope preventing easy falling of a lid body from a forceps plug body, eliminating jetting-out of dirty fluid even if water hammering due to the internal dirty fluid is generated through a treatment instrument insertion channel and capable of smoothly attaching the lid body to the forceps plug body. SOLUTION: A space 35 in the forceps plug body 11 positioned in the back side of a body closing membrane 16 is formed into a rotor shape as if it is formed by rotating the shape of an approximately heart-shape upper half portion around its vertical axis, and a wall at a portion falling under the recess portion of the heart shape is formed into the body closing membrane 16.
