The light guide has an entry surface for light rays emitted by a light source (2), an exit surface of light rays towards an index (3) and side faces (5) inserted between the entry and exit surfaces. Optical units formed of the entry surface, a mirror surface and basic entry surfaces orient the received light rays parallel to a rotation axis of the index, and optical units formed of side faces, an exit surface, intermediate surfaces, side surface and entry surface focus the previously reoriented light rays towards the exit surface.
