<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of image defects in margin-less print. <P>SOLUTION: The structure of a transfer portion is switched between the margin-less print and a normal print, and further the margin-less print cannot be carried out with a structure of the transfer portion for the normal print.
