The method involves conveying packaged goods (3) from a goods conveyor (1) along a picking line by two pickers arranged adjacent to each other in conveying direction of the goods. The goods are gripped by the pickers, and the goods are delivered based on detected characteristic of individual goods in stacking position. A group pre-defined with respect to the characteristic is formed in the stacking position. The position is transported by a stacking position conveyor (2) within a region of delivery of goods, where the position is parallel but against conveying direction of the goods conveyor.
