<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microencapsulated colorant excellent in dispersion stability in an aqueous dispersion liquid, giving ink compositions excellent in stability of ejection from recording heads, obtaining recorded products excellent in image fastness, print density and abrasion resistance, giving images hardly blotting even when using plain paper, and producing recorded products having images increased in color development. <P>SOLUTION: A microencapsulated colorant, whose colorant particle surface is covered with a wall substance composed mainly of a polymer is provided, wherein the polymer is composed of (1) a polymer A having an ionic group, (2) a polymer B having an ionic group having opposite electric charge to the charge of the ionic group of the polymer A, and (3) recurring structural units derived from one or more selected from a group consisting of a hydrophilic monomer, a hydrophobic monomer and a polymerizable surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
