摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction-type transmissibility variable type power transmitting apparatus which can transmit higher power compared with a conventional one between two members without excessively increasing a friction coefficient of a friction material. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmitting apparatus which comprises first members 24A, 24B with frictional engagement, respectively, which relatively move in a constant direction with respect to a counter part, and a second member 16, and pressing means 38A, 38B, 46 and 50 which press the first and the second members to each other with respect to the counter part so that surface pressure between 2 frictional engagement surfaces may increase or decrease is characterized by including a supporting means 18 for supporting the first member rotatable around a first axis of revolution 22 perpendicular to the frictional engagement surface, and transmitting means 34A-36B which transmit relative movement to the first members 24A, 24B by converting it into rotational motion around the first axis of revolution 22, and transmit the rotational torque of the first member to the second member 16 by converting it into a force of constant direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
