DESIGN APPARATUS OF PATTERNS FOR WOVEN FABRICS, DESIGN METHODS, AND DESIGN PROGRAM

A device and a method for designing patterns for woven fabrics, and a design program thereof are provided to design the patterns interactively while simulating the patterns using shirring or gather to a complete product in a 3D(Dimensional) mode. A pattern data storing part(12) stores pattern data for woven fabrics. A simulation engine(14) simulates a woven fabric product sewing parts, which use a plurality of woven fabrics, along a seam line fixed by the pattern data in a 3D mode to make the length of both sides of the sewing line different from each part. A monitor(20) displays the pattern data and a simulation image in parallel. A user interface(4) receives the change of the pattern and simulation data displayed in the monitor. The pattern and simulation data displayed in the monitor is changed according to the changed pattern data.
