<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin electromagnetic clutch and eliminate wear and rattling in rotation of components caused by the thinning. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic clutch 1 comprises a field core 11 having an electromagnetic coil 10 built in, a rotary shaft 2 inserted through the electromagnetic coil and rotatably supported, a rotor 3 fixed to the rotary shaft 2 to be rotatable together with the rotary shaft, a cover 5 formed in a cup shape having a cylinder part and a bottom plate with an end side of the rotary shaft rotatably inserted in the bottom plate, and an armature 6 attached to an inner bottom of the cover 5 opposed to the rotor 3 on an opposite side of the rotor 3 from the electromagnetic coil 10, wherein an input hub 4 is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the cylinder part of the cover 5 and the field core 11 and the rotor 3 are provided to be housed in the cylinder part of the cover 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
