PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel-plate bearing wall with high strength and a small wall thickness. SOLUTION: This steel-plate bearing wall comprises frame materials 110, 112 and 120 which are arranged on an outer periphery, and face materials 130 and 230 which are fixed to the frame materials; the face material comprises a plurality of protrusions 132 and 232 parallel to one another, which are protruded at predetermined intervals, and folded portions 142 and 242 in which the face material is folded back at the ends of the protrusions; and the face material is fixed to the frame material so that the protrusion can be protruded in the inside direction of the frame material. The plate thickness of the face material is set at almost half of the plate thickness of the frame material. The folded portion can also be formed in such a shape that the face material is folded back in a threefold manner, and vertically arranged at the width-direction end of the face material.
