PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type motorcycle capable of reducing the length of the entire seats and enhancing the opening/closing property, and simultaneously locking both seats by a single locking mechanism. SOLUTION: A main seat 15 is turnably supported around a front end, and a tandem seat 16 is turnably supported around a rear end. A part of the tandem seat 16 covers a part of the main seat 15 from an upper part. A single lock mechanism 20 for locking the fixing of the tandem seat 16 to a motorcycle body is provided. According to the present invention, the entire length of the seats 15, 16 can be reduced by the overlapping length of the seats 15, 16 in the longitudinal direction of the motorcycle body, the main seat 15 can also be simultaneously locked by the single lock mechanism 20 for locking the tandem seat 16, the number of components is reduced and the cost can be reduced.
