EMULSIFIER-FREE COSMETIC FORMULATIONS OF THE WATER-IN-OIL TYPE

Water-in-oil type of cosmetic compositions are provided to improve problems in skin safety and usability caused by conventional emulsifiers, serve use convenience of water-in oil type cosmetic, stabilize the interface between oil and water by using fatty acid, fatty alcohol and cellulose derivatives, so that the compositions are useful for moisturizing the skin and blocking UV(ultraviolet). A water-in-oil type of cosmetic composition comprises 0.00-10.00 wt.% of fatty acid and fatty alcohol and 0.01-5.00 wt.% of cellulose derivatives selected from alkyl cellulose, hydroxy propylcellulose and ethylcellulose for emulsification, further comprises 14-60 wt.% of oil components and 20-80 wt.% of aqueous components, more further contains 0.01-5.00 wt.% of a component which is hardly used in water-in-oil type selected from salicylic acid, AHA(alpha hydroxy acids), electrolyte, and is formulated as cream, lotion, lipstick, makeup base, foundation, ointment, gel, patch or spray. Further, the fatty acid and the fatty alcohol have 12 to 22 of carbon chain and an interface activating effect.
