PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device capable of realizing color shift correction in the intermediate grayscale of each color using a simple configuration, and to provide electrical equipment. SOLUTION: A signal Pj having a pulse width corresponding to display data Da-j is output by a pulse width modulator 54 provided to a data line 211; and a lamp signal Vrp generated by a lamp signal generating circuit 30 is sampled, on the basis of the signal Pj and output to a data line 211. The pulse width modulator 54 outputs the signal Pj, by referring to a decoding value stored in a memory 54 on the basis of the display data Da-j.
