PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented styrene resin film good in frictional charging properties without applying an antistatic coating, scratch resistance and sliding properties, also excellent in adhesiveness, and suitable for uses for a window material for envelopes, a laminating material for food packing containers and the like. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented styrene resin film is characterized in that surface projections having a highest height of 1.5-10μm are formed on the surface 1 of the film surface by adding particles to the styrene resin, and the number of the projections having a height of 1.5-10μm is 1-500 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>.
