PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient rule of an electromotive circular saw tool which is used when a gradient having a predetermined angle is cut and formed to a square timber used for a roof truss of wooden building, and can simply cut and form a predetermined gradient to the square timber by inclining a guide bar by a predetermined angle with respect to a gradient rule body having an inverse L-shaped cross section. SOLUTION: The gradient rule 1 of the electromotive circular saw tool is constituted so that the guide bar 3 is fixed to the outside of a vertical plate 22 of the gradient rule body 2 having the inverse L-shaped cross section, extended from the vertical plate to outward, and inverted inward, and inclined upward by the predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plate 21 of the gradient rule body in a state abutting to the corner part of the gradient rule body. The gradient having the predetermined angle can be surely formed to the square timber such as ridge beams, purlins, and pole plates or the like used for the roof truss of wooden building by the gradient rule having simple structure and easy handling property.
