The frame has longitudinal supports (1) and cross beams (4) that are connected with longitudinal beams in a length-adjustable manner. The cross beams are held at a predetermined distance to each other through distance pieces (5). The cross-beams are connected with one another by the distance pieces. A clamping piece and a clamping screw are provided for detachable connection of the cross-beams with the supports. A lifting support rack is adjustable on the cross-beams transverse to the supports. The support rack has a supporting unit (23) for a load and is height-adjustable under the load.
