A tool for preventing scattering of slag is provided to prevent scattering of the slag and dropping of pieces when the pieces are removed, thereby preventing fire and damage to the outer surface. A tool for preventing scattering of slag includes a main body(1), a magnetic body(3), a handle(4), and a fender(2). The main body has a semicylindrical shape and an inversed trapezoidal side view. At least one magnetic body is installed at one side of an outer circumference of the main body. The magnetic body is riveted to the main body to be securely fixed thereto. The handle is riveted to the main body to be integrally moved with the main body. The fender extends from one side of the outer periphery of the main body and then is bent inward to be in contact with a wall surface of the main body.
