HOME ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CONTROLLER AND HOME ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control home electric appliances to be controlled by switching via an external communication network through the use of a home electric appliance control protocol. SOLUTION: A home electric appliance controller 10 includes: terminals 12; a communication adapter 18 having the home electric control protocol for communication with the external network 16; and a contact point control part 14 for controlling by switching the home electric appliances connected to the terminals. The contact point control part 14 includes: an assigning part 22 for recognizing the number of terminals, assigning intrinsic identification numbers based on the electric appliance control protocol to the respective terminals, and storing correspondence relation between the terminal numbers and identification numbers; and a holding part 24 for storing correspondence relation between the states of the terminals and property information based on the home electric appliance control protocol. Then, the conversion of identification numbers and terminal numbers and the conversion of property information and terminal state values are performed with respect to a control request with the home electric appliance control protocol from the communication adapter 18.
