PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce even the sound data of sampling frequencies except the frequency most often used without degrading the S/N ratio in a digital audio reproducing system. SOLUTION: This sound data processing device has a first oscillator 3 of a predetermined frequency, a processor 1 to make predetermined processing for input sound data based on the frequency of the first oscillator, and a transmitter 12 to convert the processed sound data into predetermined format data for transmission. It has a second oscillator 5 different in frequency from the first oscillator, and an output means 12 to make output in the frequency based on the first oscillator when the sampling frequency of sound data inputted by the input means is a frequency based on the first oscillator, but to make output in the frequency based on the second oscillator when the above sampling frequency is a frequency based on the second oscillator.
