The arrangement has prisms (P) with flanks (PF1, PF2) comprising an angle of incidence to a surface area (PG) of the prisms. A total refractive angle of a level of number of prisms arranged behind one another in their level, where the number of prisms arranged behind one another in their levels increases with a distance of respective prism level from a beam axis (SA). Neutrons (N1-N4) are focused through different total refractive angles of different prism levels respective to a point on the beam axis : An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an arrangement for focusing a neutron beam.
