An apparatus for measuring the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation is provided to reduce the amount of blood to be measured, decrease the costs of measurement by eliminating additional power tool and simplifying the structure and system of apparatus, and improve rapidness of measurement. An apparatus for measuring the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation comprises: a body(1) having an upper plate(11) and a lower plate(12); a blood introduction portion(2) having an inlet(21) and an outlet(22) formed in one side of the upper plate; a channel(3) flowing the erythrocyte in blood, communicated with one side of the blood introduction portion; and an electric current supply portion(4) for inducing electric resistance to the erythrocyte by supplying a constant current, having electrodes(41, 42) installed in the channel. Further, the channel contains a plurality of groove parts in a flow direction.
