An indoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to improve air conditioning performance by evenly distributing air accelerated through a projection that increases the velocity of current by forming a flow guide projection on one side of a louver. An indoor unit for an air conditioner comprises a drain pan(150), a front panel, and a plurality of louvers(420). The drain pan collects condensed water, and guides flow direction of heat transferred air through a plurality of discharge guide holes(156) having a projection(158) that increases the velocity of current on its inside by causing interference to the air flow. The front panel forms a part of an exterior, and guides suction and discharge of indoor air. The louvers are rotatably installed on one side of the front panel guiding discharge of air by coming in contact with discharged air. |
