A navigation apparatus having a front and rear area sensing function and an anion generating function is provided to guide safely parking by checking a blind spot through the front and rear area sensing function. Front and rear sensors(21,22), which are installed at front and rear areas, transmit detection signals. A navigation controller(10) outputs a buzzer operation control signal according to the detection signals from the front and rear sensors. A timer(2) counts a specific time. A buzzer operation controller(16) outputs a buzzer operation signal according to a control signal from the navigation controller. A buzzer(18) is periodically driven by a control signal from the buzzer operation controller. A distance calculating unit(14) calculates a distance by the control signal from the navigation controller and outputs the calculated distance to display a position on a display unit. An anion driver(32) is periodically driven by the control signal from the buzzer operation controller. An anion device is driven by a control signal from the anion driver.
