A vending machine for examining blood and an operating method thereof are provided to select a notification method of the blood examination to be convenient for a user. A vending machine for examining blood includes an input unit(210b), a display unit(220b), a blood collection kit ejection unit(230b), a blood collection kit recovery unit(240b), and a database unit(250b). The input unit inputs at least one of personal information, an examination list, an examination result notification selection and a payment method. The display unit displays at least one of user input information, an amount of payment, and a user request list. The blood collection kit ejection unit ejects a blood collection kit requested by the user. The blood collection kit recovery unit recovers the blood collection kit. The database unit manages a check list and a serial number of the blood collection kit.
