A head removable camera is provided to reduce the inconvenience of a user about preparing camera heads according to the need of the user and exchanging lenses for respective use purposes. A housing(11) has a rear end portion mounted at a front end of a signal input/output cable. An image capturing element unit and a lens unit(12) positioned in front of the image capturing element unit are accommodated in the housing. A cap combined with a front glass is mounted at an opening of a front end portion of the housing. A cap(26) combined with a conversion lens(31) is mounted instead of the cap. The conversion lens is a single lens. The housing and the cap are processed to be waterproof, and a connection part of the housing and the cap are processed to be waterproof.
