A dual plate organic light emitting device is provided to remove a toast defect by maintaining an inner pressure between first and second substrates. A dual plate organic light emitting device includes first and second substrates(10,20), a thin film transistor, an organic light emitting layer, first and second electrodes, a sealant, and a conductive spacer(17). The first and second substrates face each other and include defined display regions and non-display regions. A plurality of pixel regions are defined on the display region. The thin film transistor is formed to correspond to each of the pixel regions of the first substrate. The organic light emitting layer is formed to correspond to each of the pixel regions of the second substrate. The first and second electrodes are positioned on upper and lower parts of the organic light emitting layer. The sealant is formed to be higher than an interval between the first and second substrates in the display region by corresponding to the non-display region between the first and second substrates. The conductive spacer electrically connects the thin film transistor and the second electrode. |
