A connector for a linear member in a drying rack is provided to unfold a first and a second linear member at a predetermined angle and to fix the two linear members by connecting a first and a second ratchet wheel and a supporting plate with a shaft member. A connector for a linear member comprises a first ratchet wheel(6), a second ratchet wheel(8), a second fastening unit(10), a supporting plate(12), a stopper, a shaft member(16), and a limit unit. The ratchet wheel, assembled with a first fastening unit(4) to insert a first linear member(M1), has teeth formed on a certain part in the circumferential direction. The second ratchet wheel has teeth formed on a certain part in the circumferential direction. The second fastening unit is fastened to a second linear member(M2). The supporting plate, connecting the first and the second ratchet wheels, is integrally formed to the second fastening unit. The stopper is installed at the second fastening unit to be elastically assembled to the teeth of the first and second ratchet wheels. The shaft member fixes the first and second ratchet wheels and the supporting plate to rotate about the same rotation center at the state that surfaces are in contact with each other. The limit unit limits the rotation of the first and second ratchet wheels within a certain range. |
