An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a repair method thereof are provided to perform a repair process between sub pixels displaying the same color when a bright point is generated in an RGBW(Red, Green, Blue, and White) quad type LCD, thereby implementing accurate colors after the repair. In plural couples of gate lines, one couple is formed as dividing each pixel line with respect to pixel lines formed in plural rows. Plural data lines(156) cross the plural couples of gate lines, and are formed in an intersection between the gate lines and the data lines as including upper and lower sub pixels. Plural TFTs(Thin Film Transistors) are formed in an intersection between the neighboring gate line and the data line of each sub pixel. Plural pixel electrodes(112,114,116) are electrically connected with each TFT, and formed in correspondence with each sub pixel. A connection pattern(160) passes through the same sub pixels between neighboring pixels. Dummy patterns are formed by overlapping the connection pattern with pixel electrodes of sub pixels where the connection pattern passes through. |
