This invention relates to the chemoprevention of prostate cancer and, more particularly, to the use of raloxifene or tamovifene or a derivative thereof, isomer, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, or N-oxides, and mixtures thereof for the preparation a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of precancerous precursors of prostate adenocarcinomaiesions, for the preparation a pharmaceutical composition for reducing the amount of precancerous precursors of prostate adenocarcinomaiesions, and for the preparation a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting or suppressing precancerous precursors of prostate adenocarcinomaiesions. |
