The invention relates to heat-power engineering, namely to cooling towers of recycling water supply systems for use in power plants and industrial enterprises.A sectional cooling tower comprises a housing with air intake openings peripherally arranged in its bottom part with water-distributing collectors positioned therein installed on a blind area and connected to the water-distributing system, sprayers mounted on the collectors and a water storage basin. The air intake openings are separated by partitions extending over outer housing contour forming a confuser together with the blind area and partitions. |
