Inhibitors of CTGF the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy

Disclosed are agents that inhibit CTGF in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of specific early stage aspects and late stage aspects of diabetic nephropathy. The use of these agents are also disclosed for the manufacture of a medicament for treating various physiological features associated with early stage and with late stage diabetic nephropathy.
