A tank and a soft water vessel having a float type check valve and a water softener including the soft water vessel are provided to simplify structure of a mechanical system and reduce the manufacturing costs accordingly, and prevent a control failure or program bug generated in the electrical control process and improve reliability accordingly by mounting a float type check valve utilizing buoyancy on an inner part of the soft water vessel. A soft water vessel(100) comprises: a soft water vessel head(110) having a regenerated water inlet(114); a soft water vessel body(170) which is connected to a bottom part of the soft water vessel head, and in which an ion exchange resin is filled; and a float type check valve(130) installed in the soft water vessel head to open or close the regenerated water inlet by buoyancy of soft water. The soft water vessel body has a raw water inlet(172) on a lower portion thereof. The soft water vessel head has an air vent(116) formed therein. The soft water vessel head has a pair of guide pins(118) formed on a bottom face thereof to move the float type check valve in the vertical direction. The float type check valve and the ion exchange resin have a separating mesh(150) formed therebetween. The float type check valve includes a supporting plate having an opening-and-closing part formed in a central part thereof to open or close the regenerated water inlet; and a pair of floaters which face each other and are adhered onto the supporting plate.
