FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related for manufacture of fixing parts that consist of rod and head, which are made of different traditional materials, and also of hard-to-process metals and alloys, for instance, of titanium alloys. Head with opening is manufactured, which has internal conical surface, and rod with corresponding external conical surface, which expands to the rod end and its length exceeds length of head conical surface. Rod is introduced in contact with head along conical surfaces from its external side, and head is fixed in holder. Then they are axially compressed, and rod is rotated for friction heating and plasticisation of material in friction zone with relative movement of one of parts. After rotation is stopped, parts are cooled for creation of welded seam. ^ EFFECT: improves quality and strength characteristics of joint. ^ 7 cl, 5 dwg |
