FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for synthesis of optically active amines of the formula (I): wherein * means optically active atom; R1 means substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl, arylalkyl, hetarylalkyl or hetaryl; R2 means substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl, arylalkyl, aryl, hetarylalkyl or hetaryl; R3 means hydrogen atom, hydroxyl, substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched (C1-C10)-alkyl; X means oxygen atom or -NH. Method involves the following steps: (a) interaction of compounds of the general formula (II): with compounds of the formula: R2-XH (III) in the presence of a base to yield compounds of the general formula (IV): (b) interaction of reaction solution of compounds of the general formula (IV) with compounds of the general formula: -NH2-R3 (V) to yield compounds of the general formula (VI): (c) hydrogenation of compounds of the general formula (VI) to yield compounds of the general formula (VII): in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, in particular, catalysts based on Ni, Co, Pt, Pd, Ru or Rh; (d) cleaving racemates of compounds of the general formula (VII) to yield compounds of the general formula (I) of optically active carboxylic acid or esters of the general formula (VIII): in the presence of lipase or esterase. Also, invention relates to novel optically active amides of the formula (VIII) and a method for synthesis of compounds of the formula (VII).
