<p>The method involves generating three frequency sub-bands from respective input frames. The three input frames corresponding to the three frequency sub-bands are encoded by two distinct descriptions, where the input frames have a temporary redundancy. The frequency sub-bands have low frequency sub-bands called approximation sub-band and high frequency sub-bands called detail sub-band. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a system of encoding and decoding video by multiple descriptions of video sequence.</p> |
