#CMT# #/CMT# The panel (I) has a plaster core (2) with large surfaces associated to solid and durable cardboard sheets (3-1, 3-2) for forming a flat and rectangular plate. The cardboard sheets are associated to a decorated paper (4) that covers a surface of the panel. The decorated paper is impregnated with melamine based resin e.g. melamine/formaldehyde mixture or melamine/urea/formaldehyde mixture, at temperature in the range between 185-187 degree Celsius for ensuring connection between the cardboard sheets and the decorated paper. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a plaster based covering panel. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Plaster based covering panel e.g. Gyplat(RTM: gypsum plastering baseboard), Sheetrock(RTM: plasterboard), LAFARGE(RTM: drywall), Gyproc(RTM: gypsum board), for forming a wall, partition or ceiling (all claimed) in a building. Can also be used for forming a backing lining. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The panel is light in weight and easy to cut, so that the panel is implemented in an easy manner. The panel is recyclable and provides improved decoration. The panel provides resistance to chemical aggressions such as acids or alcohol bases, and mechanical resistance to abrasion, radiation or impact based on EN438standard. The panel also provides resistance to fire based on EN13823standard.
