<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide MnCoZn ferrite having low temperature dependence and capable of keeping high effective magnetic permeability in a wide temperature range even when DC magnetic field is applied and a magnetic core for a transformer which comprises the MnCoZn ferrite. <P>SOLUTION: The MnCoZn ferrite comprises a basic component, an additive component and impurity. The basic component consists of 51.0-53.0 mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 13.0-18.0 mol% ZnO, 0.04-0.60 mol% CoO and the balance MnO. The additive component includes 0.005-0.04 mass% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.020-0.400 mass% CaO and 0.010-0.400 mass% TiO<SB>2</SB>per total ferrite. The content of P and B as the impurities is respectively <3 massppm P and <3 massppm B per total ferrite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
