PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high space efficiency by lowering a height of a connector at an insertion-coupling state of each connector housing, and prevent looseness and extraneous noise of a lever member at an insertion-coupling state of each connector housing. SOLUTION: The lever-type connector 10 makes connector housings 20, 30 insertion-coupled with or separated from each other by a rocking operation of the lever member 40. The lever member 40 of the lever-type connector 10 has a locking protrusion 41 set in protrusion, and a flexible member 50 has a locking opening 51 set dug to be insertion-coupled with the locking protrusion 41. With the locking protrusion 41 of the lever member 40 at an insertion-coupled state with the locking opening 51 of the flexible member 50 at a locking position, the flexible member 50 is not positioned in a space pinched by the locking protrusion 41 of the lever member 40 and a female connector housing 20. Therefore, a gap between the lever member 40 and the female connector housing 20 can be narrowed at least by a thickness of the flexible member 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
