PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably determine the defect of oil return from an oil separator to the inlet side of a compressor. SOLUTION: In an oil passage 15b for guiding lubricating oil from the oil separator 15 to the inlet side of the compressor 12, an outflow oil temperature sensor 34 for detecting the oil temperature TL flowing out of a capillary tube 15a is disposed within the range of 300 mm from the connecting part between a refrigerant inlet pipe 22 and the oil passage 15b. Further, an inlet refrigerant temperature sensor 31 for detecting the inlet refrigerant temperature TS of the compressor 12 is provided, and when a difference in temperature obtained by subtracting the inlet refrigerant temperature TS from the oil temperature TL is 20°C or less, the oil return is determined to be defect.
