<p>A method for improving the reliability of a VOD service, includes: selecting a first VOD server to provide the VOD service for a user terminal; and when a VOD service request which is re-initiated by the user terminal is received, re-selecting a second VOD server for the user terminal to continue providing the VOD service based on the current operation state and strategy of the VOD server. In the invention, the blindness in the VOD service switching is avoided, the success rate is remarkably increased, and the quality of the users' VOD service is effectively assured.</p> |
