<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat belt device which uses the behavior stabilization control operation of a VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) and abrupt turning information from a steering angle sensor as a trigger, controls a belt retraction amount so that the restrictive force of an occupant by a belt becomes optimum, and prevents any sense of incongruity or feeling of the discomfort of an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular seat belt device 10 comprises a motor 23 for driving a belt reel 22 with a belt 13 wound therearound, a trigger means which detects a change of the traveling state of a vehicle and outputs a working signal for instructing the operation of the motor, a lateral acceleration sensor 63 for detecting lateral acceleration applied to the vehicle, a yaw rate sensor 64 for detecting a yaw rate generated in the vehicle, and a control device 26 for controlling a conduction quantity for operating the motor based on the signal related to the lateral acceleration outputted by the lateral acceleration sensor and/or the signal related to the yaw rate outputted by the yaw rate sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
