PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device capable of preventing an end part of a coil spring from interfering with a tire when the coil spring is broken without increasing the weight and manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In the suspension device having a shock absorber and the coil spring 4, a lower spring seat 11 supporting the lower end part of the coil spring 4 is provided in an outer cylinder 3a of the shock absorber, and at least one connection means out of connection means connected to the outer cylinder 3a of the shock absorber, e.g. a knuckle arm 7 of a center take-off type steering system, has a projecting part 7b projecting to the side opposite to an extending direction of the knuckle arm 7. The projecting part 7a prevents the end part 4a of the coil spring 4 from interfering with the tire 8 when the coil spring 4 is broken. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
