An information processing device including a printing job search function, an information processing method and a recording medium thereof are provided to enable a user to search a printing file or the printing job, which is a set of the printing files, from a hard disk installed in each network printers by using a search condition received from the user. An area input unit enables a user to fix a job storage unit(13,25) of a printing job to be searched among various types of job storage units storing the printing jobs. A search condition input unit receives a search condition from the user. A job search unit(15) extracts the printing jobs corresponding to the search condition among the printing jobs stored in the fixed job storage units. A display control unit(11) displays the extracted printing jobs on a display unit. A processor processes the received search condition based on property of the fixed job storage unit. The search condition includes a character string and the property includes light restriction. A job creation unit(12) converts a word processing document or a spreadsheet document into a print job data format which corresponds to a print job, and transmits the print job data to a data transmission management unit(16).
