PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum radiographic imaging system if a flat panel detector (FPD) is applied to the radiography astride radiographic imaging chambers. SOLUTION: An operator selects a radiation image detecting device 6 which is suitable for the radiography and which is not currently used (Step S8: a selecting means). When a console 7a receives selection command information from an input operation part 18, the console 7a transmits the selection command information to the selected radiation image detecting device 6 (Step S9). When the selected radiation image detection device 6 receives the selection command information from the console 7a, the radiation image detection device 6 turns on a light emitting part 64 based on a light emitting cycle corresponding to the console 7a (Step S11), and announces that the radiation image detection device 6 is selected by the console 7a. In addition, any one of light emitting parts 7b1-7b5 corresponding to a slot in a cradle 7b where the radiation image detection device 6 is housed is turned on. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
