PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drainage structure of a muffler for a vehicle increasing a degree of freedom of layout in a muffler body, and preventing a drainage pipe from being peeled by freezing of residual condensate water. SOLUTION: The muffler 1 for a vehicle comprises: a muffler body 2 having a muffling chamber 7; and an exhaust pipe 3 communicating with the muffling chamber 7 and disposed to be projected from the side of the muffler body 2 to the outside. Small holes 9 communicating with the muffling chamber 7 is formed to an outer periphery of the exhaust pipe 3. The drain pipe 10 is disposed to the outside of the muffler body 2, and one end part of the pipe 10 communicates with and is connected with the muffling chamber 7 at a position out of a vertical line 12 of a center axis 11 of the exhaust pipe 3 in the side of the muffler body 2, and the other end thereof communicates with and is connected with a projected part of the exhaust pipe 3.
