PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held driver of screw spindle operation, inexpensive in manufacture, without imposing a burden on the edge of a thread. SOLUTION: This hand-held driving device for a fixed element 60 is provided with a movably arranged driving plunger drivable by a driving spring element 31, and a towing device 70 for the driving spring element 31. The driving device is provided by arranging a screw spindle 76 rotating by a motor 71 in a tension applying device 70. A traveling nut 78 is nonrotatably and axially movably guided to the screw spindle 76. The traveling unit 78 can reciprocate between a first end part position 83 and a second end part position 84 under control of a control unit 23 controlling the motor 71. The driving spring element 31 is moved to a tension position, and then, the traveling nut 78 is displaced to the first end part position 83 from the second end part position 84.
