PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the occurrence of noise and creak by smoothly driving a valve in a wide operating range. SOLUTION: An oscillating cam 15 for driving the valve is formed of divided bodies radially attachable/detachable to and from a camshaft 11. The divided bodies forming the oscillating cam 15 are separably tightened to each other with bolts 15c, and attached to the camshaft 11. The divided line L1 of the oscillating cam 15 is so set that the axes A of the bolts 15c extend along the tensile force F acting thereon at least immediately after the valve is started to open at a high lift.
