PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing, improving and/or treating damage of a digestive tract caused by chemotherapy and/or radiation. SOLUTION: The method includes to administer an effective amount of a milk product extract to a patient requiring it. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical or veterinary medical composition for preventing, improving and/or treating the damage of the digestive tract caused by chemotherapy and/or radiation includes an effective amount of the milk product extract and a pharmaceutically or veterinary allowable diluent, carrier or filler for the extract.
